Last night I had Actor, Singer, and Songwriter Justin Mortelliti on my digital talk show series, "Live with Rye!" to talk about his new musical, The Ladies Man. Justin spoke about the inspiration behind writing the musical, finding your chosen family after coming out, growing up in an Italian American household and the societal pressures put on him, discovering your faith, and much more!
Justin is an incredibly talented individual who is doing such great work for the gay community. He created a musical that will truly help so many young LGBT+ people struggling with their sexuality and who they are. One of the things that struck me about Justin was his passion for helping others, sharing his story, creating meaningful art, and writing The Ladies Man, which is no holds barred and is real, gritty, and raw and will no doubt help so many! This show needs to have a life on stage or in another medium, so if you are a producer watching this, or you know someone, you want to be involved in this!
