I hope you were able to catch last night's episode of "Live With Rye!" with my special guest Major Attaway. Major is currently gearing up for the debut of his "Disney-based twist" cabaret show called The Genies Jukebox and biohacking his way to owning every day with NuCalm.
In 2016 Major made his Broadway debut in Disney's Aladdin, standing by for the role of Genie and then going on to be the first replacement Genie to take over for James Monroe Iglehart. The latter won the Tony Award for originating the role. As of now, Major is the longest-running Genie in Aladdin on Broadway!
He also played Fatty Arbuckle in the "NY City Center Encores!" production of Mack and Mabel in 2020. Major has lent his voice talent to numerous projects, including as the voice of NuCalm, One Piece, Pokémon, Borderlands 3, The Pathfinder Series, Snack World, Bread Barbershop, Smite, Fairy Tail, Battleborn, and Dragon Ball Z Kai. On his Twitch Channel @IPlayedMajor, he lives streams games that he voices in character and plays with and against fans! Major can also be seen in an upcoming HBO series, and the Netflix original series Orange Is the New Black.
